Happy Monday morning everyone!!! What a day, what a weekend. The weekend never starts out good when bad news hits. Found out last week that my cousin's husband passed away, the funeral is today. So, wasn't looking forward to Monday getting here any sooner. I am not a fan of funerals, would rather not go if I don't have to. I didn't really know him all too well, but my cousin and I were like brother and sister when growing up. We knew each other very well, did lots of things together. So, for her, I will go. She needs lots of prayers and support. She is not taking it too well at all.
Ok, the depressing news is over. Saturday started out fun. Woke up and broke my toilet. How? Had a lotion bottle drop from a shelf, into the bowl, making a hole in the bowl that couldn't (I didn't try to) be fixed. I was gonna try to patch it, but then said, just get a new one. So, for the first half of my day, I spent it replacing my toilet. Not bad for my first time ever doing that, and I am finding out, that I am pretty handy around the house. I'm no contractor by any means, but I can do some projects. Took a rest for a little bit, then started raking leaves. *Sigh* This is no easy task. I have one tree in my front yard, two in my back yard. My neighbors tree is as big, if not bigger than my three trees. So, just in my front yard, I piled up all my leaves, started to mulch them, then ran out of leaf bags. SMH. I still have piles of leaves, however, they have a dusting of snow on them. So, I will have to wait til this weekend, when the snow stops, and I have free time to pick the rest of the front yard up. Hopefully I can tackle the back yard soon, it's gonna be a big task.
Sunday brought a day of rest, so I thought. Woke up, had breakfast, was asked to bowl. Got out of bowling late, had to go home, eat quick, then go to work. Busy Busy Busy. Got done with work, came home and was able to relax. Just for 2 hours. But it was a glorious two hours.
Now, it's Monday. I exercised, and am now ready to go. So, I hope you all had a great weekend, and I hope you all have a great day.
