I just weighed myself and (thankfully) I've lost a couple more lbs. (I plateaued for a couple weeks) I'm not sure of the science of weight loss. so I have a few questions! First the facts. I'm 53 (now) 123 lbs and I'm 4' 10 and a half inches tall. I live a mostly sedentary lifestyle because of COPD and RA and a bad spine. but I exercise 5x a week and go for little walks (1/2 + 2 miles) 2-3x a week. AND I'm eating at a deficit for a total of 1200 calories a day. the issue is I can't seem to eat that much. (1200 calories) I went from junk food all day chips, peanut butter and cheese crackers, and butter and jelly sandwiches, fun size candy bars, movie box candy little Debbie's brownies, baked desserts a donut 3 times a week, and more than a normal dinner. Now I'm mostly sugar free. no more 6 teaspoon of sugar in 2 large coffees no more snacky snacks, 0 junk food! I weigh EVERYTHING and I account for any oils I use! I'm being 100% honest with my calorie counting. I feel like I eat a LOT of food. breakfast lunch dinner and healthy chosen snacks, (fruit, string cheese, mini rice cakes. ect) I'm NEVER hungry and I don't have cravings! so is it ok that I only eat 900-1000 calories a day and still lose weight healthily?
