Post birthday weigh in and one last birthday progress photo before I return to my regularly scheduled posts of eggs, vegetables and chicken. This is my mid 30s vs my mid 40s. It’s a good reminder for me when I get down to remember that goals don’t happen overnight, and progress takes time and consistency.
An increase of 4lbs over the weekend, and since my last weigh in seems quite acceptable. Considering my weekend consumption included “adult beverages”, pie, ice cream, chocolate, other treats…and my only real activity over the weekend were some relatively easy hiking trails. This shows me how valuable simply walking can be for our goals! It seems impactful for me, at least.
The weekend was a definitely a nice break from restrictions and goal chasing. Both physically and mentally. I have been in a bit of a rut lately. Hopefully this break was what I needed to reset and start fresh and “Get Back After It!”
