I'm down another pound, so I've met my PCC's challenge to lose 5 pounds. I fasted yesterday and consumed only no-calorie beverages. Mostly I drank water, but I did have a cup of black coffee, and a couple of cups of herbal tea. This was my fourth 36-hour fast in two weeks.
I was afraid that fasting might trigger me to binge the next day, but so far that has not been the case. I eat normally - or at least what is normal for me. I plan to eat three good meals today and have already tucked away a hearty breakfast.
My next challenge will be to get down to 189 - within six weeks would be grand, but this old body might not be able to burn that rapidly and even 3 pounds in six weeks would be great - as long as I'm going in the right direction.
