JDbowler Günlüğü, 13 Tem 15

What a weekend. It was a lot of fun. Went to a street art fair this weekend, walked around and enjoyed the outside for most of the day. I didn't think I did a lot of working out, but I did do some walking. So maybe that is where the drop came from. Otherwise, this past two weeks worth of workouts have started to catch up in the weight department. I am always frustrated when people tell me that I look like I am losing weight, and I just stay at the same level. Now the scale is also showing results. Don't get me wrong, I love losing inches, but losing pounds just makes it that much more rewarding.

I am not full of self esteem. Never have been. In high school I was always bullied about my weight, told I was ugly, and that has always stuck with me. I never look at myself as a good looking guy. However, this weekend, it was very nice to have a couple of friends tell me that I am really starting to look good. My wife tells me all the time that I am good looking, but it is hard to forget the words of the past that have been etched into my brain. Hopefully this will help me get to that great place where I am full of self esteem.

Today is my wife's birthday. She is also on Fat Secret, however she is not on much right now. She had surgery on her foot and hasn't been able to do much. She does keep walking as much as possible, without trying to overdo it and have to go back in for more surgery. Today should be a good day. I am not thinking it will be a day of overdoing it food wise, but the working out this week will help keep in check any indulging that happens today.

Nice drop JD. A lot of people think their life will change when they get to their goal weight, they will be happier, their life will be better but actually our lives stay the same. We are still the same person inside even after we lose 50 lbs or more, that's why we have to work on our inner self. By becoming a better person we get to be more beautiful on the outside as well. You are a good spouse, father and provider that makes you beautiful, not +- 40lbs :)
