Let's not focus on the negative points but rather your positive points I hope you had a great time and enjoyed yourself immensely. Perhaps you made great memories learn some new things experience new things to help you learn and grow as a person. With any luck some of those pounds were just salt and water retention if not life is a journey and we can continually where you left off now. 😉

Vacation is difficult no matter who you are or what season of the year it is. Enjoy a bit of the wonderful foods that are available— no off the rail, Portion control is your best friend, and do as many things as you can that are active. Get home and pick up where you left off and start planning your next great vacation.

Thanks for being real and posting that. It's so easy to do on vacation. Happens to me all the time. I "think" I know what I'm eating but if I don't log, I really don't know. You'll get right back on it and drop it soon.

Relatable! I gained 8 lbs in one week when I lost track of logging. You’ll get back there in no time!

@leah guffey. You called it! Numerous trips to the bathroom last night and 5 lb.’s lighter than yesterday. ( having no prostate is not fun) . But I’ll take it

We travel quite a bit and gaining is always a concern! I’ve found that when I get home and resume my WOE and fitness routine I lose any gains.

@crazy4donuts - see post below about logging. I think the real culprit was the day i got back. Took the grands to a pizza party and overindulged. ( always great pizza in nj) lots of sodium and water retention. @diana- i will . For one thing i’ll be back on my gym routine.

Another day settling back into the routine it amazes me how much salt can effect a person's weight. Personally my weight can very as much as 5-7 lbs from a good Chinese meal and a night on the town with Ryan. I even make sure to drink lots of water and limit my noodles 🤷🤔 or I feel like I do.
