I seem to have lost my focus over the last month. I turned 40 and worked really hard to look good for that. Then the wheels came off. I gave up a lot of foods that I like and after the big day I started to eat all of them again. I think I have leveled off and I am ready to refocus. This time I am going to eat all the things I like but in normal healthy amounts. I realize this will take longer to lose the weight but I think I have a better chance of keeping it off. Looking forward to losing this holiday season!

Funny how turning 40 is the great equalizer. I turned in July and worked so hard only to level off and plateau right afterward. I'm really trying to find a way to get through the holidays (and the goodies that go with them) and still lose steadily. I'm not going to deny myself...but I don't want to overdo it either.
