Hi there, I just want to encourage you to not give up. You can do it. Some advice especially with insulin resistance would be to get your carbs down to around 25-30g and ditch the starches like potatoe, corn, bread, etc. substitute for sweetpotatoes and look for a Paleo/Banting bread recipe and substitute almond flour with sunflower seed flour (much cheaper)and breakfast coud be a Bulletproof coffee (1 Egg, 1 Tbsp real butter, 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil,2 Tsp Coffee, Xylitol to taste and 250ml boiling water and blitz it up... it is a great full breakfast and you can add extra egg to keep you going till after noon without snacking. Drink lots of water. Good luck.
