Congratulations to the UK for being the leading edge of the coming tidal wave. Expect to see more leave. Expect to see more countries split off and vote for self-determination. Expect to see geographical countries fracture and divide along nationalistic, and historical nationalistic lines. Does this mean Texas and California secede from the Union?. I'm not sure if I'm happy with the EU exit or not, we (England) were never happy with the EU, but it's the anti immigrant xenophobic attitude the vote had taken on the past few months is what concerns me most. There's been a secession movement in Texas since the Republic of Texas joined the United States. I think our British friends used better semantics, instead of calling it secession it was merely an "exit", some of our more staunch Independent Texas fellow citizens might consider adopting that sort of language. Either way I would vote NO if a referendum ever came up proposing such a thing.

Friends in England always want to know what it's like living in America? My first question is which state?... Because if you don't liked one state, moving to another is like another country. Massachusetts has nothing in common with Texas and even less in common with California, all completely direct and unique in their own way.
