Scales vary so much. I would weigh myself at home and when I got to the gym . Then weigh after exercising and again at home. I did that for a week to see how much they varied. For me, there was not too much of a difference between the two. This may seem obsessive but it helped me if both numbers was higher to know where I was heading.
