so, as i was clearing up yesterday, i managed to eat a caramel shortcake bite and had swallowed it before i even thought about it
brain was just too busy thinking of all the things i have to do before monday/tuesday
at least my eating was mindful for the rest of the day!!
up 0.2kg today, so essentially the same
hoping to lose a little bit more before 2 weeks of hospital, food/ready meals/takeaways from monday..just going to have to make the healthiest choices i can

You can expect a bump up in weight from the surgery alone..the body retains water in the healing process. Don't fret it! As you say, make the best choices you can, and when you've recovered, you can get back on plan. Have a good Friday.

Poppy, I'm guessing that by mentioning ready meals for the next couple of weeks you have access to a microwave. Not all is lost for healthy eating in that case - http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/collection/microwave has a lot of ideas.
