Thanks Stef. DH has some retinal tears and a part of the retina detaching. Laser repairs have been made but it hasn't healed quite the way the Dr. expected. Over the weekend, DH noticed some changes in his vision that weren't there before, so he doesn't want to wait until his follow-up appt. at the end of the month. If needed, the next step would be more traditional eye surgery. Perhaps this is just a stage of healing, but it always helps to have a Dr. confirm that. 

Oh Sandy, I am so sorry to hear that...will say some prayers that all is well, and that this is just a normal part of the healing process. Hugs, my friend!

Well done on your walk you are rocking......sorry to hear about the hubby will be thinking of you sending prayers.

Hey Sandy... praying the what your husband is feeling is normal healing and all is going to be okay. Sometimes things seem worse than they are.

Bren, that's what we're hoping....that everything is actually doing fine. Neither of us has had any major eye problems before, so it's difficult to know what might be a cause for concern. 

Thanks, Sandy. Like you, we're hoping this is just a phase of normal healing. Luckily, it doesn't "hurt," it just makes you think there's something in your eye messing up your vision...all the time. 

Lisa, I feel fairly good that the holiday weight is coming off relatively well. I suspect I'll hit the actual weight gain mark any day now and then I'll be back to r-e-a-l-l-y s-l-o-w drops after that. However it goes, these last pounds WILL GO!!
