I tried the mainly raw fruit and veggie diet, but didn't do well waiting until evening to eat protein. I felt light-headed, made a lot of mistakes (absent-minded goofs) and wanted to sleep all day. I tried to eat mainly vegetable protein, and the legumes didn't agree with me, which is nothing new, and I craved protein all day. I did lose a few pounds, and my joints were relatively free of pain, but I just couldn't function.

Looking back over my records, I think I did best on Primal Blueprint, though I need to make sure I eat enough veggies and don't try to live on meat and nuts. So, I'm giving Primal Blueprint another try, but with the emphasis on raw veggies and fruits. I will eat enough protein to satisfy my appetite for it, but also make sure I have some veggies or fruit with each meal.
