I can see now that not only do I need to pay attention to my net carb count, but I really need to watch my sodium intake. Watch that junk! My net carbs was around 30g saturday night, but my sodium was in the 6700 mg range. Yikes! That explains the 4 lb increase. I'm not gonna let that happen again.

Salt is tough for me... giving up sugar you gotta have something right? Bland food is nasty...lol. Lots of water for you!

Word! I tend to use a lot of pepper and red pepper flakes to compensate for the lack of flavor. Looks like a majority of the sodium comes from all the processed stuff like sausage and cheese.

sausages yep, chalked full of it. beef jerky too. i agree with the fresh ground black pepper and red pepper flake. i put them on everything, and truthfully, i'd give up salt before either of those.

That's it. I'm going to eat clean all week. I'll strive to keep the sodium and net carbs low and continue with the normal exercises to see the weigh in trends.
