Gained 0.6 lb. Oh well...

At least my blood pressure seems to be in control (as long as I don't step in a doctor's office, that is!) and is in a good range.

I bought a new blood pressure monitor and have been taking my blood pressure every day since. Easier for me in the morning after emptying my bladder and brushing my teeth and before taking my meds.

It was a bit high the first time I used the monitor because I am always nervous when it's been a while since the last measurement, but afterwards it went down to the 120s/70s, then stabilized to the 110s/60s to 70s. As long as it is under 135/85 at home, I am happy. Problem is, it rarely gets under 140/90 at any doctor's office. :(

Sometimes I suspect that my doctor prescribes too much blood pressure medication because I am almost always way over 140/90 in the office, even when I show her my numbers from home. However, people who do not suffer from this sneaky condition have normal pressure even when they are stressed or at the doctor's office, so I have to accept this. As long as I avoid strokes and heart attacks I should be fine.
