I realised something horrible today 2 years ago i was like 145lbs and thought i was sooooo huge now im over 30lbs heavier!!!!!!!

i checked my BMI for two years ago and it was like 28.4 or something which is overweight but not that bad

currently my BMI is in the 30's :/

if that isnt motivation then i dont know what is off to the gym i go!

I've had many moments like you describe in my life. Find a way to eat that works for you that you can maintain over the long run, not the short run. Diets work to lose weight but not to keep it off. Good luck!! I know you can do it!!

Thanks Madaboutmoose :) i actually feel like for the first time in ages i am starting to get into a good rythym of eating and exercising and finding out what really works for me slowly slowly :)

Wonderful!!! Slowly is good! Quick and desperate for me led to rebounds so I think you are on a great path!! And in excellent company if I don't say so myself. LOL!

I agree. I've lost pounds more quickly than I have recently, but quick off usually = quick back on. SLow and steady does win in this case.

I totally agree. I remember when I weighed 125 - 130 and thinking I was still a bit pudgy, now I'm about 65 pounds heavier! Ugh, I feel so uncomfortable in my own skin. I'm taking it slow this time around and I think I appreciate my own hard work more. I'm at the gym, sweating bullets, and I think...this wouldn't have had to happen if I'd just kept up with my workouts the way I was supposed to!
