Naiomy Günlüğü, 17 Tem 10

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! i just finished Week 6 Day 3 of my C25K and i totally got thru 25 minutes of jogging! w/o dying!... i was a schweaty beast.. but i did it!... and i am now up to TWO MILES!!! up half a mile from last saturday ... so once i get to that 30 minutes. .i'm sure i'll be short that 3 miles.. but i figure my speed will improve as i get stronger. wow.. never would have imagined getting this far... so proud of myself for the first time in several days.. i needed this boost!! :)

my husband made me a salad topped with salmon ( it was seasoned perfectly.. wish i took a pic b/c it was beautiful.. even decoratively topped with lemon slices and he HATES fish lol)... and some steamed veggies.. it was so delicious.. maybe that gave me the physical boost i needed for today.. who knows :)..

alright.. off to get my dripping self to the shower..gotta work today ;)

YAY!! I'm so proud of you! So awesome & you'll definitely be hitting that 3 mile mark in no time at all. I still can't even fathom the day I'll be able to run a whole mile w/o dying. But I'll get there one day ; p That sounds very sweet of your husband, esp since he doesn't like fish. I love me some salmon, lol! Even though you gotta work today, have a great one = )

thanks shay!... oh that salmon was delicious.. and i could eat salmon all day long.. i love it raw, cooked..whatever... and trust me.. that mile will come to u faster than u think.. i couldn't believe i hit a mile when i finally measured! i was like no way!.. it just happens!

OMG...that sounds amazing. One day I will get there. I hear lots of people talking about the c25k....honestly I just figured out what that mean earlier this week. (Sticking the Loser Sign on my Forehead). Maybe I will start that next time I go to the gym, I think that would be a good addition to my spinning class and other workouts I do at the gym. I think you said I need to take my workouts to another level. Hmm that might be the trick.

everyone i know who has stuck to the c25k has had great results.. and when i was reading up on what it was... it said "you WILL get in shape"... and really it worked.. i don't even lose my breath at a mile.. i didn't start panting till almost the endof the 2nd.. and i know once i get conditioned for that it won't happen even then.. something about your body learning how to breath and to pace itself.. its incredible steph and i really recommend it.. i promise you'll see results..
