friendly555 Günlüğü, 22 Ağu 10

So before lunch I went to the tennis courts with the family and played tennis for the first time! It was so much fun and such a great work out! It's almost time for bed, I'm a little sore, but I know that it's because my body is not used to me moving this much.

I'm still trying to figure out how many calories I should eat each day..how do I find out what is not enough and what is too much? I tried the RDI on here, but I'm not sure if it's accurate, that just seems like ALOT of calories. The days that I almost reach that amount is because I didn't eat very well that day. Research time :)

I know I'm only two weeks into this, but I'm still reminding myself I'm not going to lose all this weight overnight. I see all the people here that have been successful and it has taken them time. I have to be patient with myself. I set myself some goals to get rewards, I saw someone else doing that and I thought it was an awesome idea! A little something to look forward too, but I didn't put a time limit on it. As soon as I reach it the prize is mine! The ultimate prize will be riding on the carnival rides with my sons!

My sister took the Wii with them back home, I want one so bad now. I played on that and must have burnt a ton of calories yesterday. That's what motivated me to go out and play a real game of tennis (of course without the rules and points LOL). I think I'll start with tennis and then after I lose some weight I can move onto more sports.

Hi F555 ~ I was undershooting my cals (trying to keep below 1000) and someone directed me to http://www.webmd.com/diet/calc-bmi-plus, which ultimately had me adding about 300-400 more cals per day and things have been dropping steadily since that time. Good luck with your research!

Thanks Impossible! I went to the diet evaluator. It says my body needs 1756 calories just for living and breathing. UGH

Okay, I don't think that site works. It told me that I should be aiming for 1316 calories a day which I don't think is enough.

Hmm, okay, I went back and changed it to light active and it gave me 1650, which is more realistic. I think I'd drop if I did the 30 Day Challenge on 1316
