It has been about 10 days since I switched from Atkins to Calorie Count, and so far so good! I don't feel near the same kind of pressures about making sure that I don't eat ANY sugar. I am still maintaining a sugar free diet. But, I don't freak out if I accidentally eat something with sugar in it.

I am trying to do what is called "clean eating." This is when you eat only natural food, no processed or refined food of any kind. This is easy for me because it is mostly what I eat anyway. I haven't really eaten processed food, well, ever.

I am under 290 which is great and I am really hoping to get into the 270's by christmas!

I still need to add exercise. I have walked sporadically the past couple of weeks, but a daily habit has not been created yet! Oh, and I'd like to kick the diet soda habit (one I picked up on Atkins).

Congrats on our continuing success! You are doing fantastic, and I am quite sure you will be well into the 270's by Christmas!!

Don't pressure yourself about the exercise, especially since you've recently modified your eating plan. I didn't start ramping up the exercise until I'd been wearing my new eating habits for almost 2 months. By then I was more comfortable with them & ready to work on something else. In general I make changes when it feels right & that seems to work well. :)
