Today's Journal is interactive. I am requesting a bit of a butt kicking!!
I don't know why I just can't get the walking thing together!! Last year I was walking everyday and really enjoying it.But, for some reason, I just can't seem to get it together this time. Maybe I need to buy a new exercise outfit or get some new songs from itunes. Something!! It is silly. I have lost 35 pounds without exercising and I KNOW that it would be 40 or more if I could just get my butt out on the trail. I know there is some sort of block about exercise and I just need to figure out what it is.

Maybe you need to set a goal & come up with a reward for yourself when you reach it. This helps me when I don't feel like exercising because then I think, "how am I going to run a 5k in spring (or whatever) if I don't stick to my training plan now?" Come up with some reward that will motivate you, like maybe a new shirt or something every 50 miles you walk. You already know you need to do it, & recognizing this is the first step to changing it! You can do it girl!!!

Kat- The reward at 50 miles is genius. I LOVE stuff like that. Making charts of my progress and I have been saying that I want to do Bay to Breakers this summer. So, yes, both great ideas!! Thanks.
