Found some motivation today....walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes, still counting calories and thankfully not too hungry. Saw a segment on TODAY that if you sprinkle Chia seeds on your food, it will fill you up faster. They are full of fiber. I need to try that...if anyone else has had experiences w/that let me know how it has worked for you! Good luck everyone.

I use chia seeds but I have not noticed or monitored a change in my level of hunger after consuming them. I'll see what happens the next time I add them to my oatmeal.

I add them to my yogurt. The add no flavor but a nice crunch...also gets stuck in my teeth. I try to drink extra water to help the plump up. I feel full longer.

I need to start my exercise routine. I've been starving all day--LOL. I keep eating celery and carrots. That has to be better than what I was eating, right? I haven't had any experience with Chia seeds. I'm trying to find foods high in Iodine (or maybe a powder from an nutrition store). I have a thyroid problem and I'm wondering if this would help. I'd love to hear about the Chia seeds. Let me know if they work!
