Crazy day yesterday. Up at 4am to see Emily off back to Queens. Then 10k race at 9am which went great. Then to work, didn't get done till 9:30pm. Ate so many different foods I'm just going to leave it blank.

Good to see you journaling ... knew you were busy! I hope you daughter has already arrived ... we are expecting another blast of winter and the snow has started.

She got back safely but not without incident. She missed her bus connection at Pearson due to a weather delay in Washington. She stayed with friends in Toronto and drove to Queens with a friend Monday so all worked out well. The weather is nuts. My race on Saturday was 19F and sunny thank goodness. This morning we had bad ice. I'm looking forward to my Ultra this Saturday. Forecast is 53F and rain - what with all the tugs from nutrition, running and family - it seemed so simple 4 weeks ago. I'm trying hard to stay focused.

So glad to hear she is ok. Rough commute day tomorrow. Yes, lots on your plate. i know you can do it! be in the moment. it will all come together..
