Got my shopping done for our Valetines day dinner .... Yummmm I really cant wait ... Steak and crab legs ... Although it wont be all that romantic or relaxing because we are having this dinner with the kids ... Cant bring myself to eat something so wonderful and not share it with them because the boys LOVE crab legs ... And my cute little daughter thinks valentines day is this HUGE holiday , she was upset that she had to go to school today... shes acting like its christmas LOL . So I got the kids cute little gift bags with candy and fun stuff . Should be fun. And then we get to have an evening out with friends and I get to see one of my best friends SURPRISE proposal that will be happening tonight as we are all out. Im really excited for her.

Off to go work out ( twice as hard as usual to redeem myself for the V day dinner ahead of time ) !!! Seems like a good plan . I hope you all have a great valentines day : )

OK quick edit : I totally forgot to mention that I made " Amazing Flourless Brownies " as a special dessert treat also ... And it tastes really good ( I snuck one little bite just to make sure it was good ) !

You will do great. I love crab legs, too, but my downfall is the butter. I need to try to remember the name of that spray on butter substitute. Anyone know what I'm talking about? It's probably made from motor oil, haha.

I have never heard of that ... Might have to look into it ... Would make this meal much healthier ... Im gonna try to have crab without the butter tonight : ) Try , I said try ... And I absolutely LOVE your sense of humor ... Motor oil , Haaaaaa ...

I think spending the valentines diner with the kids included is really sweet! Theres nothing like spending time together with the entire family. My husband and I have 3 teenagers and one toddler together. Trust me when I say the days of little ones wanting to sit around the table with mom and dad instead of their friends are precious. Enjoy them! Ps.... Just make some extra time for romance after the kiddies fall asleep ;). Have a great day!

The spray you are thinking of is probably "I can't believe its not butter" spray. I spray it on my scallops before broiling them. Sounds like you had a great time! :)
