Good Afternoon FS'ers how is your friday going?

Mine is going so so :P

back on the good food wagon? not so much today i have had, cheese and pickle sandwiches (on brown bread plus point!) crips :/ and 2 nutrigrain bars :s not a good day.

I need to focus on getting back into a healthy routine. back into the gym next week for sure and hopefully will be able to go food shopping for some healthy options.

Only got 4 weeks left until my 5k and 7 weeks until my holiday so i need to get on an intensive training course and diet asap anyone got any tips? or challenges for me? x

Tips... RUN! LOL If you have anything specific send me a message and I'll help out. If you just mean general advice then start out slow. Run/jog for a few minutes and then take a walk break. Repeat that until you've done about 30 minutes.

Listen to the man, he knows his stuff. I'll try giving you food advice. Fruits and veggies, fruits and veggies, fruits and VEGGIES! Stop buying processed crap loaded w/ high fructose corn syrup like the Nutrigrain bars. Load your sandwiches w/ more veggies than just pickles. Lol. And probably best to go with low fat dairy products.

I agree with the "run" tip. If you're training to run a 5K, then you gotta start running. Start with 1K, then the next day do 2K, etc. By the 4th week you should be running 5K with no problems. Good luck.
