I'm feeling pretty depressed today :(

I came home to visit my family this weekend and i've been pretty good when it comes to food (bar the rocky road cupcakes i made but i only ate one!) I've mostly been eating like salads and new potatos so when i went into town today to go shopping with my sister i was feeling great. i found some awesome leggings and a cute top and i was happy. untill she wanted to go to mcdonalds for food, i cant stand mcdonalds but i was starving and everywhere else was closed so i conceeded got some fries (which yes i know are terrible) and she got the spicy veggie burger meal, her deli sandwich looked a lot better than my greasy fries so i asked for a bite (not half or anything just a bite) and she turned round and said i thought you were trying to lose weight. and i was like yeah i am that's why i don't want anything more than a bite and she was like well you can't have any because your going to get SO much fatter and gave me such a disgusted look i felt sick. my sister is a teeny weeny girl (she even said to me i can eat it because I would never get fat like you) it just really hurt to have my own sister look at me like i was a disguting monster :(

bleh has made me determined to lose some more weight gym 5times next week even if it kills me.

That is awful! Your own sister shouldn't say things like that to you. Why would she want to hurt you? Sounds like she's threatened by your success or jealous of you for some reason so she might be trying to undermine you. The best revenge is a good life! It's a good thing to take a comment like that and use it to motivate you to be healthy and happy!

The sad thing is she doesn't, she is skinnier than me , she has better teeth than me (its a big thing for me) she does a lot better in school than me and she generally outdoes me on everything we do! so it was just a spiteful thing i guess :/

What a putz! Makes you go to Mcdonalds and then is mean to you because of it! Tsk. I got on line and got some healthy choices from the fast food places that my kids like to go to, and I know what I am eating so I don't pay any attention to jerky behavior from my so-called "friends and family"! There are some decent items on those menus. Good luck!

You should have had the veggie sandwich too - it's only 545 calories, which is only a little more than the large fries! If you don't eat all the bread, take off 100 calories for each piece of bread you toss out. Sisters! Mine weighs the same as my skinny 17 year old - she broke one of her teeth and can't eat!

:O ouch! my sister is a skinny 16year old :P yeah im glad i didnt eat it in the end but annoyed she had the cheek to say that grr ah well

Ugh that's just awful! It's like she was setting you up to knock you down. Not very nice. I hope the rest of your day and your tomorrow are much, MUCH better.

I am so upset with your sister. SO UPSET. How dare she say that. I have a sister, too. She is 4 years younger than me and battling weight loss as well. Most of it is in her stomach, and she has people ask her all the time if she is pregnant. It hurts her so much. Oh my gosh, I just CANNOT believe her. I am a firm believer in what goes around, comes around. Maybe after she has a few children and has to experience weight loss for herself she will know how hard it is: physically AND emotionally. I hope you cheer up and are able to get past this terrible thing she did to you. I have a movie suggestion! Now I know titles of movies change internationally, but I am obsessed with the movie "In Her Shoes" It's about two sisters. I think you would LOVE it! Cameron Diaz is in it. Let me know if you are able to find it and watch it! This entry made me think about that movie. HUGS!!! :o)

Meh i'm over it now shes young and stupid and one day she will gain weight and realise its not fair to make people feel bad. yeah it was called in her shoes here too i haven't seen it but maybe i will give it a go. HUGS BACK
