End of day five on the South Beach Diet. I am loving this. I am eating lots of vegetables and I don't crave the soda, ice cream, and candy like I used to. Today I had my first diet soda since I started this, and I didn't even drink the whole bottle. I will officially weigh myself Friday morning, but I have already lost at least 5 lbs! I am hardly ever hungry, and I don't feel the need to go for 2nds at dinner like I usually do. I was always hungry before this diet, I am eating more than I usually do, but I am just learning the right kinds of foods to eat. It is a little expense buying so much veggies, but it's worth it. I am sure I spend that much on fast food over the whole month. I just wish I had a complete shopping list for the phase 1 sample meal plan for the first two weeks. So if anyone out there has one let me know...thanks :)
