So I was just thinking about something. I have been doing the South Beach Diet for about 4 months. I had my first half of a chocolate candy bar this last week, and I did not like it!

If someone had told me 4 months ago that I would not miss eating sweets/junk especially ice cream or candy bars I would have laughed in their face! Never before could I pass up chocolate!

These past for months I crave: Pizza made with a mushroom cap as the crust, no sugar added fudgesicles, cocoa roasted almonds, sugar snap peas, hummus...my mouth is just watering thinking about them now.

I also was a carb junky! I loved breads, pasta, cookies... I honestly and truely do not miss them. Sure they still smell good, but for some reason it ends there.

I am actually proud of myself. Something I usually cannot tell myself. There are so many people here doing such a great job, and I am so happy to be able to share success stories with everyone. I am excited that I can be one to encourage another with the progress that I have made, it's even better when I can see someone's success story and be so motivated to keep going and someday VERY soon reach my goals.
