So I ran the GAR run yesterday and drank 2 beers, and 4 vodka tonics. Also during the GAR Expo weekend I drank 2 beers on Friday, 3 glass of wine on Saturday, and 1 beer on Sunday.
Wow! That is 12 drinks in 4 days. I think this is more than I usually drink in 1 month.
So, for the last 3 days of this 7-day Challenge I am going to overcome my tendency to pour myself a drink and instead start to read this book that Fletcher gave me: "Born to Run" by Christopher McDougal.
It's about positive lifestyle change, Emily!!! Gotta keep reminding myself that. And this change is not temporary or fleeting.

So I weighed myself in on Tuesday and gain a pound. Felt kind of sad at first, but realized it's going to take a daily almost moment to moment effort to change some of my eating habits.
So with that said! Toward the 7-day No More Excuses Challenge, I am going to eat foods for 7 days that I would cook or make for myself. For instance, last night I ate left over apple pie, which Fletcher ordered from Buca De Beppo. Would I normally bake that for myself and eat it? No.
Why did I eat it? Because it was just sitting in the fridge. Was I hungry? No. Okay! I got it out of my system. No more excuses!
