I decided to weigh in today to see how much damaage I've done (cheeseburger, onion rings, pizza, ice cream, ribs over the weekend and lots of snacking last evening) - I'm happy to see only a half pound gain. My goal is to stay between 142 and 144.

Cathy - you are doing well. A half pound fluctuation is normal for anyone. You are VERY active and you should be able to eat anything you want in moderation - 80/20 and mindful eating DOES work. I talked to a friend yesterday who is worried about doing TDK - not because he is worried about the ride, but because he has worked so hard to lose weight over the last year that he is afraid of all the grazing we do on a bike tour. I told him not to worry - I always eat whatever I want and still manage to lose 2 pounds every year. I am so pumped for TDK - I have ridden 20+ miles every day this week so far and it is going well. I am not sure I will be able to ride today or not. How was the time trial?
