livelifefully Günlüğü, 19 Eyl 08

Weighing in today at 143 again. No loss this week which is disappointing. I ate very healthfully yesterday and really this week so I am not sure why it didn't go down. Plus I am working out hard with my training. My tummy is a little fluffier so I am missing something here. I will try to watch it on the weekend which is always hard. We are having company tonight which means good eats and dessert and then we usually go out on Sat. night. Usually I am down in weight in the week and up after the weekend. However, I do not want to go over 143!!! Only down from here! Especially since my goal is to hit 139 by the end of the month. I really need to put my focus on!!

This must have been disappointing but this is the hardest part of dieting, mayb thats yr weigh level now, They say the body fights to hold on to some weight, but maybe you lost fat and gained muscle weight. Maybe you should now measure yrself, esp around the part of body you like least, maybe it will be inches for a while, But stay strong and focus and dont be tempted to stray.

If you are working out really hard, you might be retaining water in your muscles (lactid acid). This can sometimes show on the scale as a gain or even staying the same. Just keep doing what you are doing! It all works out in the end and you will be lean and toned. Great job!

it def gets harder in the end! its so fustrating, but you did change your routine and you are doing everything right, i am sure the scales w/ show in due time! (SOON) be good tonight!

Yes, I know the feeling. I didn't notice anything for a whole month. Keep up your resolve, livelifefully. You're doing all the right things, it'll go down eventually. Be patient. I don't like setting weight goals by a certain deadline b/c if it's not made then I sabbotage myself and say "Hey, I didn't make it, might as well eat this chocolate bar, or 1/2 lb of pasta, etc.". You'll get there. Eating low carbs and staying away from sugars as much as possible has helped me see results quicker...

I know how frustrating it can be to lose the same few pounds over and over. But good job keeping your weight from going above 143. Maintaining can be as hard as losing. Keep examining all aspects of what you are doing and I'm sure you will come up with the answers that will work for you. You've still got close to two weeks until the end of the month. You can do it!
