I do weigh almost everyday, but I typically don't post it unless it's a loss or my official weigh in day. I just like seeing that line graph going down! But today I was shocked when I stepped on the scale and saw I have officially hit the 20 pound loss mark! woohoo

Somehow I only managed to eat a bit over 1200 calories yesterday, and that included a beer. Plus I exercised. I try to keep it around 1500, but I didn't ever feel hungry. I did drink a butt ton of water. Overall it was just a weird day.

I can't figure out where I am losing my weight, my measurements don't seem to have changed that much. My cross ring that I've worn almost daily since I was 16 is now too big on my ring finger! So it's time to move it to the other hand middle finger...that's the one I wore it on when I was 16. So I guess I lost 20 pounds in my fingers haha. I am still wearing my size 14 jeans, they are a few inches too big in the waist and butt, but they fit my thighs, that's frustrating.

I know how exciting the 20 lb mark can feel. I'm so happy for you. I was wearing a size 16 and just got down to a 14, and like you they are a little loose on top but I have some thigh work to do! :) Keep up the good work!

I recently just decided to the same thing with my weighing. I've heard that a lot of research shows one really good method to maintain weight loss is to weigh every day. I have a piece of paper taped inside my bathroom mirror that I record my weight daily on. I consider my weight to be 134.5 lbs, and I am to stay in plus or minus two of that. I realize that small weight fluctuations are normal. But on that darned graph 136.6 looks like a huge increase and I feel like it looks like my weight is really unstable! Congratulations on your weight loss! I always like to think of my number in terms of real life objects... so have you ever picked up twins (babies)... because that's essentially how much you've lost from your body!
