Well, I am proud of myself because I did not quit. Day 2 of converting to 8:16 being a low calorie day was hard for me. I had a banana which meant I had more calories than I was supposed to per the plan, but I still stuck to it and lost weight.

This is also the first time in the journey that I don't cheat a little each night. I am proud of that also. I feel good, I have been trying to get more sleep and I feel the difference! I have energy and I feel like my mind is emerging from a fog.

I needed to cook this morning for dinner tonight but an unexpected issue arose - basically I needed to start work early so that I can attend a meeting at my son's school. It will be ok, my 8:16 allows for me to cook dinner after I get off work and attend to my son - so I think I will be ok.

Each morning, in the shower, I try to not let my mind wander - I try to focus on me and the achievements I want to accomplish for the day. I try to pull in positive energy and release any negative. I attempt to focus on what will allow for me to grow and flourish and to remain strong! Here is to moving forward and day 3!
