Still on maintenance, lost 1.1 lbs (0.5 kg). Lost 19.7 lbs (8.9 kg) since the start of my diet. I am eating less of the Pro Energy products each and every day, which is a good thing because they are so expensive. For me, eating less refined carbs (candy, dessert, sweet lattes, pasta almost every day) really was the way to go!

My blood pressure has gotten out of control since a week or so, even though I recently changed my medication and lost weight. It makes me feel sad and upset, because hypertension is definitely genetic in my case, even though very few people in my family have it, and I am only 39 years old. It is not fair, because I will probably die at a young age. There is nothing left to do besides keeping up with my medication. My doctor might increase the dose in February for my next check-up with her.

Watch Forks over knives. It's on Netflix. My blood pressure came down after 3 months, no meds. Good luck.

Don't plan on the probability of dying young. You are taking the right steps to a healthier life so keep it up and make plans to live long. You're doing the right thing thing with restricting processed foods - keep it up and see where it takes you.
