I used to HATE oatmeal. I think the first time I ever remotely enjoyed it was senior year of college, two years ago. I didn't have any food, couldn't leave the building and all our Starbucks had at the time was oatmeal. It was okay. I didn't dig it. Just okay.
I started eating it because I read so many things on belly fat so I figured I could down a little bit of it now and again. I love it now. It's hearty and it's the only food I've found that keeps me full for hours. I never had any temptation to eat after I have oatmeal. Amazing stuff.
Today's oatmeal has vanilla yogurt and frozen blueberries in it. Amazing.

I think it's funny that I can't stand canned or frozen vegetables (except for corn)...but I LOVE frozen fruit. I love the way the freezer changes the flavor. Right now I'm eating frozen peaches. So good!

I forgot that coffee makes me hungry and I was out of veggies or fruits to munch on. So, I dug through my freezer to see if I could find ANYTHING to chew on, take the edge off my hunger until pre-yoga "dinner" at 4:30.
I forgot I had unsweetened frozen blueberries. I
love
the taste of frozen blueberries. They're also low in calories, full of antioxidants, and since they're cold, it takes forever for me to eat them. That means I'll eat less of them.
I need to get another bag of them when I go to the grocery store tonight. These are going to be amazing for my diet.
(Also, I think pre-yoga dinner is going to be oatmeal with some frozen berries thrown in. Tasty, filling, fat burning!)

...Not a happy girl right now.
This is so disappointing. I had a horrible week, though, so it shouldn't come as a surprise.
Sunday was particularly horrible. McDonald's and alfredo pasta and diner breakfast and drinks...the majority of it probably came from Sunday alone!
I wish I could say I could turn this around and lose more by next week but the odds are looking pretty slim. While I do have yoga three times this week, it's my last shifts at Fridays (and I'm eating my favorite foods there) and I'm out of healthy food in my apartment and have no time to get more. I'll be a good girl on Easter, though...that one I can do.
Next week, though! I won't have my class anymore, I should have a major design finished, Fridays will be over...there should be an extra couple hours in there to exercise, prepare healthy meals and do some resting.

I am not weighing myself today. I know I'll be wayyy too disgusted with the results after what happened yesterday. It was bad. Bad, bad, bad. I'm taking today VERY easy and including some exercise and maybe my weigh in won't be so bad tomorrow.
Yikes.
After this eat-my-favorite-Fridays-food thing is done (two more days!) then these things shouldn't happen again.
