Hey guys,

It's almost Easter and I want to start by saying Happy Holidays to anyone that celebrates. I hope we are enjoying the days, no matter how it looks.

I had the best time yesterday surprising my friend for her 21st. No drinking for me, but the connections are the important part. No matter the time apart, make the time count when you are together.

I will fully admit that in the last three weeks I have veared off of my eating plans at least 6 days. That is on me, but I can't beat myself up. We are human and things happen, sometimes you have to just let go for a while. I have enjoyed myself this week, but I see that I am still making progress and that is what counts.

SELF CARE IS IMPORTANT. Watch what you eat, but don't let it consume you. Enjoy life and the little things. If you have thoughts, please let me know. I enjoy connecting with my FS family.

I am disappointed to see this gain in weight, however, as I ate throughout the week I knew quite a few days that I was overdoing it, so this was not a surprise. From here, all I can do is get back on track and start back to my planned meals. I need to stop eating extras, (last week's mentality: I ate early, now I am hungry so I am going to eat again (p.s. I always eat early), and oh well it's alright to overdue it sometimes). It's alright to not stick to a meal plan, but I should have adapted my next meals as the day went on. The amount of calories I ate on Saturday alone, was four typical days worth of food for me because I had that it's ok and I don't care attitude.

It's rainy here today, but I still have errands to run and school work to do. I hope everyone's first week of Spring is going amazingly. After everything is done today, I may curl up with a nice book and relax.
