I went for my first run today post rolled ankle. I probably should have taken it a bit slower, but I felt great and had to try. If my ankle didn't hurt at all after yoga on Thursday and after dancing like a fool on Friday, I figured it could handle it. It did, but it's a little tender. That's good, though, because that means that if that's all I've got, I give it another day and I should be smooth sailing.

WHOA. I had 5 medium pancakes, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, BBQ chicken, birthday cake, a Bud Light...
Only 2090 calories. INSANITY.
The portions for the potato salad and mac and cheese were really small and as I took the skin off my BBQ chicken, I didn't have as much sauce. I just can't believe...
I feel like I should maybe have another Bud Light or something. I'm just above my RDI. Yikes.

YESSSSSSSSS! I BROKE 131!
The best part is that it just melted off; I haven't really worked out at all because of my ankle (which survived a night of dancing yesterday, so I think I might attempt a 5 minute treadmill run today to see how it reacts). I still shed 2 lbs in 2 days!

Maybe not for a couple days, though. Tonight my parents and I (without my brother, aww) are doing our Father's Day dinner and it's going to be at a new BBQ joint my dad has been OBSESSED with even though he's never been there. While it's my "Spike" Day I'm gonna eat it up, but I'm gonna try to be good. I'll cut out the bread. I'll eat lots of pulled pork, potatoes and veggies (and maybe dessert!) but I'm going to avoid the bread.

After yesterday late afternoon the ankle only hurt when I spent a lot of time standing or if I turned it oddly. I did a bit of dancing in it last night and it was fine. I'm not going to run on it yet, but I think I can go to yoga tonight. I really kinda need to go because if I don't I'll have to forfeit some of my money. It's the last week of the semester. I can't make things up after Saturday.
Speaking of dancing, I broke one of my challenges last night. It was a pretty good occasion, though. Two of the girls I used to work with at Fridays have birthdays within a day of each other so they had a huge birthday shindig at a dueling pianos bar in my neck of the woods. I couldn't stay real late as I had to work this morning, but I had two drinks (I avoided my usual—a margarita martini—because I know that thing would be loaded with calories) and mingled with people I haven't seen in three months.
