My muscles hate me. I did a ton of exercises I never do on Monday then I didn't rest yesterday. I took it easy but I didn't rest. I think I'm just gonna do five minutes of little exercises on legs, abs and arms in my apartment today just to get them engaged...and maybe go for a walk later. A WALK, nothing where I exert myself...more like something to get my muscles moving because right now they're so tight I'm basically walking around my apartment without bending my knees. I have to have my calves back for yoga tomorrow or it will be a waste to go.

I noticed yesterday that there has been a tremendous improvement in my arms. Two weeks ago if I had my hands on my hips my arms looked great! Light definition, very little in the flab department....but when I'd put my arms by my sides they'd get flattened out across my body. I noticed yesterday that my arms look the same when my hands are on my hips as they do when they're by my side. I've obviously gotten more muscle and gotten rid of some more flub! I was a little conscious about it...I tried to position my arms differently for photos so it wouldn't show up...now I don't have to worry!

But...no move on the scale. I'm starting to get really angry at it. Down 2,600 calories Monday and Tuesday and it hasn't budged. I know, I know, muscle weighs more than fat, but MOVE. MOVEEEEEEE. Get stuck at 129! I'm just so sick of being stuck in the 130s! Get stuck in the 120s, please!

I tried to run a mile today but I'm so sore from the squats and wall sits and lunges from yesterday my thighs started to give out. I walked another twenty minutes, though, so I got something out of it. I then upped the weights in my arms rotation by one weight. They were getting too light!

I had to cut my workout off early, though. I ate at 3:30 with a lot of protein and hearty elements. I went to the gym at 6:30. I had to stop at quarter to eight because I was starting to forget things. Time lapse. I was in the process of blacking out from low blood sugar. I'm still trying to shake off the shaking. The queasy went away about 20 minutes ago after my food started to digest.

I figured I'll do some abs before bed, but take it easy the rest of the night. I think dishes is the most strenuous thing I'm going to do.

I just found out that a gathering I'm going to on Saturday is actually on a lake at a friend's cabin (yes, I said I was going without knowing what was going on!). Starts at noon, ends with a bonfire on a lake, so that's a lot of bikini time. While I am "fine" with my bikini body, I wish I were a little bit thinner, particularly in the love handle section. This week I'm going to work extra hard so I can at least tone up a bit before I spend my entire Saturday in basically nothing. Luckily, I've always toned up pretty well; in fact, if I do ab exercises more than three days a week my abs look freakish. Like, so-scary-close-to-a-really-muscular-six-pack freakish...not the good feminine kind.

So, be prepared for the possible journal entries of "I'm so sore/ridiculously sick of eating salad and cottage cheese." I have almost exactly two months until I'm supposed to reach my goal weight of 117 and I'm 14lbs away! This week is going to jump start two very hard months of really working hard. No excuses.

Another day of working out! It was so nice this morning I took a run upon awakening. I forgot that I am actually a really poor at exercise in the morning. I'm not sure why, but this has been the case since high school, when we'd take morning runs before it got too hot and 6 am cheer practices during the winter. I ran remarkably slow and had no form (probably didn't help that I was still mouth breathing) but as it said on a poster I saw a couple weeks ago:

No matter how far you go or how fast you run, you're still lapping everyone on the couch.

I've also had the most ridiculous amount of water today, something like eight pint-sized glasses, which is 16 ounces. It's odd because I barely drank anything last night (two drinks) and I usually don't get this kind of dehydration from that few. I'm sure it's because it's been so hot out, I went for a run when it was probably too warm to run (82 degrees at 9 am!) and then I laid outside and read Harry Potter in the blazing hot sun around 1. Still, this is a lot of water for me.

Yesterday was going to be my Spike day because I figured I'd be having a few glasses of sangria or a few beers, so I ate pretty poorly yesterday to make sure I went over my RDI. I became the DD last night (no big, it was my turn), I had two drinks in three and a half hours, which was a lot less calories than I planned on consuming. Well, I didn't end up going over yesterday and I probably won't tonight because everyone else had plans...so I'm having two pretty bad days where I'm hovering around my RDI. I ate a boxed white sauced pasta I had in the cupboard for awhile I didn't want to touch because of the calorie content and I had a Hershey's bar when I was outside earlier. That should put me close.
