Going back to eating low carb. I have a weightloss deadline--going to a girl's weekend 10/20-10/22 and really want to be down at least 10 pounds, 15 pounds would be better. Got my water intake back up and working hard to surpass my daily 10k step goal. Zumba on Monday accomplished that. Then worked late last night helping in the dietary dept. met my goal the second day. Eating more protein helps me feel full to fight cravings, but the headache I woke up with this morning (which I'm sure is sugar withdrawal) is a killer. Gonna fight through it and keep truckin'. Not sure if I'll need to work tonight. If not, gonna try to make it to Zumba again. My left foot has been aching, but trying to work around it. Some days I wish my regular job incorporated more walking so that I didn't have to work so hard in the evenings to hit my step goal. I guess I could get up earlier to exercise, but I really enjoy sleeping til 6:30, lol. I guess that sums up my life right now...exercise, water, and low carbs are my daily goals. So, I don't know if this is my weight as of today, but this is what I weighed on Friday--first time I stepped on the scale in a month. I've really let myself go crazy. Eating whatever I wanted, when I wanted. No exercise. No supplements. No cares. It DEFINITELY shows. The scale will not lie to you when you do bad. It sometimes lies when you're doing good, and that's why you should measure. But the scales ALWAYS know when you've messed up. :(
Anyway, got a game plan. Went shopping and bought some food. Worked out on my Wii the last 2 nights. Ate all my gobstoppers yesterday so they're not there to tempt me. lol
Just gotta get back in my good habits...counting calories, not going overboard on carbs, eating healthier, cleaner food, exercising regularly. I know I can do this. I did it 4-5 years ago and was doing great. Since I'm down a couple organs since then, I should weigh even less, but apparently my hormones don't agree. haha But I can do it. I just have to relearn my willpower.

Watching my calories. Eating more veggies and protein, less carbs. Getting in more exercise. Went to Zumba two days ago and I'm still sore. Not sure if it hurts worse in the front or back of my thighs, lol! Just gotta keep on plugging. I hooked my Wii fit back up this week. I've been putting it off because I knew there would be a HUGE jump on the scale because I haven't been on it since before my hysterectomy almost 4 years ago. Wow--can't believe it's been almost 4 years. It was the best decision I ever made!! Anyway, sure enough, I had gained, I believe it said, 36 pounds since the last time I had been on there. But I was able to get back into it and hope to make a habit of getting on regularly to exercise. I like weighing in on the Wii because I can't trick myself about my weight. It weighs me and logs it, no debating. Well, gonna plan out my food for today. Hopefully keep moving enough to keep the soreness away and get my steps in. Have a great day everyone!
