No loss this morning. I think it is because I didn't hit my water goal yesterday. I ate good and got my workout in, so that's the only thing I can think of.
I really wish we had the ability to tag people in comments like you can on facebook--I saw a journal entry with comments on my home page that I thought would be helpful to a buddy's journal entry from yesterday.
I have decided to join the Advocare world long-term. I have been taking the Spark for a while and recently starting taking the Thermoplus. I like the way I feel with it--more alert, no jitters, and no crash. I also think it might have some sort of appetite suppressant because I haven't been having cravings this week, and I find myself feeling full more quickly. Definitely happy about that! I did the 24-day challenge back in January-February and lost 16 pounds. This was a good jumpstart to getting back on track and I was doing great, lost 25 pounds by the end of March. Then my son broke his arm and I've been struggling to regain my momentum.
Now, I know it hasn't been long, but this week I've felt the best I have in a couple months.
I've tried many different product over the last few years--Plexus, It Works, different shakes, plenty of over the counter stuff...nothing has made me feel as good as Advocare has, nor given me good results. I'm sure I'll get flack from some people on here, but what I've read their products are full of nutrients.
Anwyay, here's to another of day of meeting goals and seeing better numbers on the scale!

I was only able to do 50 squats yesterday. My legs are soooo sore!! I did both planks though, and went to the gym for my workout. Got a mile and a half in 30 minutes. I know that doesn't sound fast, but I am still working up to walking fast. I increase my incline to better maximize my results. I ate great yesterday, and kept good track of my carbs and calories--pleased with the totals for both. I forgot my plank this morning, but I will do a 30 second plank when I get home from work, then my plank at bedtime. I think the point of plank is the length of time you do it, not so much when you do it. Behind on my water today, and I think that is the cause of my headache. Will have to sit and chug a bottle to get myself back on track, lol
Anyway, here's to another day of making it the best day possible!

Day one down and feeling good! I met my goals for my 30 day challenge yesterday--225 squats, 2 planks, 45 minutes at the gym, and over 15,000 steps for the day. I did not drink a gallon of water, but I drank 106oz which is over half my body weight, so I'll take it! Ate delicious and nutritious meals yesterday. It's nice to go to sleep feeling satisfied and proud of yourself, rather than deprived or mad that you ate something you shouldn't have.
Can't go to the gym in the mornings this week--No hot water while they are doing renovations, and I can't go to the gym before work and NOT shower. Just ain't happening! lol Therefore, I will go to the gym every evening after work this week.
Have great meals and snacks planned so far today, although I can't decide what to make for dinner. Low carb breakfast burrito for breakfast, leftovers from last night's dinner for lunch today, and some deli meat and cheese with pickles for my afternoon snack. I think I'm going to have to browse recipes today for my dinner inspiration.

Restarting my 30 day challenge today. I started it the end of March, then my younger son broke his arm and I put my weightloss on the back burner so I could help him have a full recovery. It's been rough getting going back to weightloss mode. I've tried several times, but fall off the wagon when the weekend arrives. But I woke up with a new determination and a plan! Lol
I prepped my meals yesterday afternoon. I will prep more meals this evening. Got my gym bag packed to go workout after work this evening. I've got my water bottle. And I started my challenge this morning. It involves 5 things-- 1. No soda. 2. Drink a gallon of water a day 3. Work out for at least 45 minutes 4-5 times a week 4. Do 25 squats every time I go to the bathroom 5. Do a 30 second plank every morning and a 1 minute plank before bed. I have got to get healthy. I felt so much better and I want to not only get back to where I was 3 years ago, but surpass it and hit my goal!!
