Let's please not talk about the past week. Let's just say it was really bad and move on. Indulging in many things, no water or food tracking and, for most days, not much exercise. I am very bloated and know that a lot of this weight is fluid, but not all of it. However back on track today, have had good workouts the last couple days and planning another one today. Prepped my lunches for the next couple days, and have planned out breakfasts and dinners so that I will be more prepared against cravings. Got to quit yo-yoing back and forth. Shared my mini-goals with hubby and he is just as excited for me to meet them as I am. I just have to keep up with my workouts and planning/prepping meals. This is what really helps me stay on track! Also, have found a pace on the treadmill that I can read while I walk and still work up a sweat. Reading is a good distraction for me and I find myself walking longer without noticing it. :) I do my strength training after my walk to work my arms and core. I feel successful with this. Also like that I'm still able to get my reading in. My book challenge has been slacking and I hate that. So, yes we're nearing the end of the week, but I'm back on track and that's all that matters! 2nd entry for the day. Allowing myself extra carbs today since I ate so little yesterday. However, still staying under 1600 calories so I'm okay with the extra carbs. Plus I will get my gym workout in today, and working my way towards a gallon of water to combat the extra carbs. Also, I'll only be 16 carbs over limit which is still better than what I would eat if I didn't track. :) Feeling good that I can indulge a little and still do well. :)

I listened to my body and only ate when I was truly hungry yesterday. Which meant I didn't eat supper because I didn't feel like it. I didn't go to the gym yesterday, but I made a trip to the grocery store and stocked up on meats and veggies. (Itake over two hours to grocery shop because I bargain hunt so trust me--I get my walking in. Lol) Also got some low-carb ice cream bars. Been craving chocolate so hopefully this will help. Got in my 10,000 steps and made my water intake goal so feeling really good. :)

I've done great this week and I'm so excited! I hurt everywhere this morning, but I'm still so excited! Lol I'm feeling better, my water intake is up, my carb intake is down, my energy level is up. My step count is great! Over 11,000 steps yesterday. :) looking forward to the rest of a great week!

Been a lot of back and forth on this low-carb eating. I'll do good for a few days, then find myself binging on sugar. I'm trying to not cheat and really stick with it. Got my meals planned for today, and feeling good! Gym has been going well. I've been going 3-4 times a week, working my way up to 5 days a week, eventually 2 times a day. It's just hard to keep the gym schedule I want with a young family, but I'm determined to make it work! My parents got me an activity tracker this weekend--I walked almost 15,000 steps yesterday!! This was 2 gym trips and a quick stop at the grocery store, plus my regular routine. I'm thinking I should have no problem getting in 10,000/day.
